International Children’s & Family Area

We have a whole new area dedicated to having children explore world cultures and traditions. From painting a tile for our Mosaic Mural, meeting Disney princesses Moana and Jasmine at story time, exploring our International Art-Bar, learning in our cultural music tent, trying the ancient art of Chinese paper cutting, to enjoying bouncers, a dunk tank and much more. We have an experience for everyone in the family!

Music Tent – Front Lawn

Cultural Body Art

  • Niagara Face Painting – Day of the Dead and more styles | $10, $5 and $3
  • Colours of the Flag Nail Art – Yennis | FREE
  • Henna | $5 per hand one side, $3 for a small design
  • Hair Braiding | $15 for whole head, $5 for half head, $2 for 3 braids

  • Celebrity Dunk Tank | Balls start as low as 5 for $1 and increase based on Celebrity status!

  • Diversity String Art – A Large-scale Interactive Art Project using wood, nails and wool | Answer questions about what makes you unique by wrapping and weaving through a web, depicting the diversity of our Festival goers! FREE
  • Interactive Upcycling Enviro Art Piece – Come embroider your name using cloth and material, and add it to our colourful Tower | FREE
  • Graffiti Art Photo Booth – Come take a Picture and try on a kilt! Play dress up then have your photo taken in front of a Super-Sized pair of Wings! | FREE
  • May 5th at 4 pm – Movie at The Performing Arts Centre – The Breadwinner | Tickets available at The PAC Box Office | $7-$9
